Placing an order with Boxed

How do I set up an account?

Simply click on the ‘My Account’ link located at the top right-hand menu, press ‘Create an Account’ tab, and fill out the required fields.

Why should I create an online account?

Creating an online account with boxedonline.com allows you to place orders quickly and easily without having to enter all your personal information every time you place an order. With an account, you’ll also be able to create a Wish List and view the history of all your orders. Be assured, any information you provide to us is held with confidence and your privacy is guaranteed.

How do I place an order?

Order online:
Ordering at boxedonline.com is fast and easy, and you can do it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. After you have added items to your Shopping Cart, just follow the simple checkout instructions and we will respond in 24hrs [apart from holidays and weekends] to confirm your order and provide you with delivery details. You can save your selected items in your Shopping Cart to access at a later date.

What are my payment options?

We use Paypal as our payment gateway and we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. We also accept direct bank transfers of which we can email you those details once you place your order.

Is your website secure?

The security of your personal information is a high priority for us. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized disclosure, use, alteration and destortion of the personal information in our possession. Any information you transmit on www.boxedonline.com is processed by an industry-standard data encryption system called Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

Do I get an order confirmation?

Upon placing an order successfully with Boxed, you will receive a confirmation email within 24hrs [apart from holidays and weekends]. If you don’t receive an email confirmation, check your ‘bulk’ or ‘junk’ folder and it should be there. Otherwise contact us and we will confirm your order.

Returns   

What if I am not completely satisfied with my purchase? How do I return it?

We stand by our word for everything we sell you. We offer you full product descriptions and assure you with the best quality possible of all provided products. Our suppliers produce only upon orders we receive from our customers, so once an order is placed and you have received our Order Confirmation then the product has entered into its production cycle and we are unable to stop it!

My item arrived damaged!

If an item arrives damaged or the goods appearance and quality deviates fully from those ordered, please notify us immediately and send us photos to our email order@boxedonline.com, so that we can work with you to arrange a return, replacement, refund or credit. If you wish to exchange or receive a refund on your order, the merchandise must be returned in its original received condition within 14-days.

Please be aware that furniture is highly susceptible to damage during transit. Our shipments are packed well so that they arrive intact, so please be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you.

Please return the damaged item(s) to the specified address at the time of dispute.

How long will it take for my order to arrive? 

Upon receiving your order the production cycle of the product starts and requires about 1 to 2 weeks [exceptions apply]. Next, your order is shipped directly from the manufacturer to the address you specify as your Shipping Address via Regular Mail so you receive it in 2 to 3 additional weeks.

In total that is an average of 3 to 5 weeks of production + shipping time. 

What shipping solution do you use?

Our standards are Regular Mail, but we can offer you a quotation for Door-to-Door Service / Courier Service if you like.

Is that an accurate delivery time – 3 to 5 weeks?

Above days of delivery are our usual estimates. However, please note that you shall be informed if your items are facing any delay due to factors out of our hand, such as holidays and weather conditions.

If you have placed a whole sale order then the production and shipping periods will differ and that will be discussed prior any confirmation.

Can I book a delivery appointment?

Yes, but they are exclusive for Door-to-Door / Courier service. You will be contacted prior the delivery to set an appointment and assure your availability at your residence or place of work. We will deliver the product at your door step or room. No assembly or unpacking is provided.

Do I need a postal code address to receive my shipment?

Yes, products will only be shipped to postal code addresses.

Gift & Wedding Registries

Can I create a gift or wedding registry with Boxed?

You’ve got that important event coming up in your life and you want to make it more convenient for your friends and family to buy you a gift. A gift registry with Boxed makes it so much easier. Simply click at the footer on the link ‘Gift Registry’ and create an account [ if you currently don’t have one]. There, you will proceed with selecting the event type, date and other details. All you need then is to add your favorite items and mail the gift registry details out to your friends!

Do you offer gift-wrapping?

Yes, some of our suppliers can offer this facility for free, others may require a small fee. Please let us know prior to the final confirmation of your order to discuss this lovely remaining detail.

How do I purchase a gift card?

Simple! Choose Think Gifts located at the left hand-side Cart Navigation bar, and view all the different gift cards you have got! All you need to do next, is proceed with the check out and offer us the recipients contact details and shipping address.

What if I want to buy someone a gift, do you have any suggestions?

Nice approach. You can go to Think Gifts located at the left hand-side Cart Navigation bar, and view all the different categories there. Submit your order by inserting your recipients address and details, and don’t forget to advice us if you need a gift wrap and a tag to go with that!
