This item is beautifully and meticulously crafted by hand by local wood carvers of the Moroccan Village of Agouti. Wood used is naturally fallen wood collected from the nearby trees in the mountains of the town, and have not been cut off of living trees. The item is functional as well as being an exquisite work of art. Hand carved from Walnut wood, this bowl is finely sanded, treated with vegetable oil and is completely safe for food. Can be used with liquid or dry food.

Made in Morocco by ASSOCIATION IGHREM. Association Ighrem is made up of a wonderful group of concerned men and women in the Moroccan village of Agouti in the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. These villagers are at the forefront of sustainable development working hard to make a difference in the lives and futures of their people. Wood used is naturally fallen wood collected from the nearby trees in the mountains of the town. No cutting of trees takes place, in fact for every sale a tree is donated and planted! Members of this local association are trained in photography and editing and are responsible for putting all the content you see.
This product needs a maximum period of 4 weeks to arrive at your mailbox. Well packed in a carton box. Weighs about 500gms.
Wash with water and detergent but do not soak in water for long periods of time as this could damage the wood. Microwave and dishwasher is not recommended as they could cause the wood to crack and so reduce the life of the product.
